Refund Policy – SM Car Rental
At SM Car Rental, we aim to provide a smooth and satisfactory experience for every customer. Our refund policy is designed to ensure clarity and fairness in case of booking cancellations or service issues.
A refund may be applicable under the following circumstances:
Customer-Initiated Cancellations (as per our Cancellation Policy):
Full refund for cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup.
Partial refund for cancellations made 12–24 hours before pickup.
No refund for cancellations made less than 12 hours before pickup or in case of no-show.
Service Not Delivered by SM Car Rental:
If SM Car Rental cancels a confirmed booking due to vehicle unavailability, driver issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, a 100% refund will be issued.
Overpayment or Duplicate Payment:
If you have been charged more than once for the same booking, the excess amount will be refunded after verification.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, UPI, bank transfer).
All eligible refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days of approval.
Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway.
No refund will be provided for last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or unutilized bookings.
Any service complaints must be reported within 24 hours of trip completion to be considered for refund review.
